 My first espresso machine was the Starbucks Barista espresso machine. It uses a pressurized portafilter which allows you to use a coarser espresso grind. For years, I used the Starbucks Barista Grinder with this machine and it worked wonderfully.

 Unless you have an industrial capacity exhaust fan in you kitchen do not attempt to use this in your house. Air roasting beans produces quite a bit of smoke, so do it on your porch or at least outside.
