 Unless you have an industrial capacity exhaust fan in you kitchen do not attempt to use this in your house. Air roasting beans produces quite a bit of smoke, so do it on your porch or at least outside.

 My first espresso machine was the Starbucks Barista espresso machine. It uses a pressurized portafilter which allows you to use a coarser espresso grind. For years, I used the Starbucks Barista Grinder with this machine and it worked wonderfully.

I have also been a person of sub-average means, so although a full on espresso maker is something I would love to have, I can't bring myself to buy one of those really cheap-ass machines that will never really do a good job.
