I have been a Pastor since 1975, in churches (Parishes) in the district of Mysore and Kodagu. These districts are in Karnataka Sate, in south INDIA.

Besides the religious duties and service in the church, I have been promoting ecofriendly activities where ever possible.I have tried to conserve water and soil, for coffee plantations. I have also implemented fuel effecient smokeless chulas(Ovens), reducing the amount of fire wood used, thus economising on fire wood in order to preserve forests.

Any biodegradable waste can be used to make compost or wormi compost with very little efforts. This enriches the fertility of the soil and has no adverse effects,as in the case of inorganic chemical fertilizers.

Rain water harvesting for coffee plantations is another venture, which helps to make the best use of consuming and enriching water source. I deem it a duty of every one to do his/her little mite to conserve water for coffee plantations.
