Lanny Robins
Lanny Robins is a Family Physician, living and practicing in Eagle River,
Wisconsin. He attended medical school in Guadalajara and then spent nine
months working at the Mayaguea Medical Center through the University of
Puerto Rico Medical School. After transferring to a small hospital in the
interior of the island, Hospital Castañer, Lanny moved to the area for the
next two years. During those two years he bought a small farm(finca) and
learned about coffee, from both the growing and harvesting to processing,
drying and roasting. He has now returned to Wisconsin to live, but still
returns to Castañer on a fairly regular basis.
